Some “new” stuff I’ve been working on. “New” to me that is… Jiu-Jitsu is a game of discovery. No matter the geography or style of grappling or the practitioner creating… we ALL start with the same canvas. Two arms, two legs & a neck. We are all bound to the same physical rules… though some can bend them with added physical abilities (strength / agility / flexibility etc). So we will all bump into the same moves, positions, attacks, counters etc. The real contribution comes from each of us sharing our “secrets” and growing the art Together. Do you realize it’s been 27 years since Royce Gracie fought in UFC 1? Yet the Art of Jiu-Jitsu continues to adapt, grow, evolve… and thrive. It’s a living, breathing art. Most martial arts are bound by “old” ideas. Some good some not.
