What’s wrong this example of a #kettlebell swing?? Guess and I’ll give the answer soon!

UPDATED with answer below.

It’s the trainers @jj626diaz nailed it on the head straight away, great job. Next time I’ll have a prize.

On top of that, there were some great observations. You’ll notice that my head does tilt up slightly on the downward swing. If we’re hyper critical, we could say that’s wrong. But, providing the spine doesn’t go into hyperextension, some head movement is OK as we would never keep our chin entirely tucked when hip hinging during sport, we need to look where we’re going (most of the time)

There were also some comments on rounded shoulders, which may be partly true, but mostly IT’S THE TRAINERS….

With soft cushioned heel trainers, it throws everything out of line, which pushes the knee forward, takes some load off the posterior chain and can cause excessive lean back to compensate, which is causing the shoulders to round slightly. On top of that, your feet also become “numbed” to the feeling of the ground and the kinaesthetic feedback that provides.

Go barefoot, as often as you safely can, when working with kettlebells. Sorry @nike
