Which do you think is better?

Which do you think is better?
————————————————————
Training a good hip hinge (regardless of the tools you use to train it) is essential for BJJ physical optimisation. There’s a subtle difference between the two movements, so you may need to watch the clip a few times.
————————————————————
(1) notice I tuck my pelvis up by activating the glutes and keep driving the glutes and pelvis up as I drive my hips back and when I come up. (2) I lead the movement by tilting the pelvis down, so I’m leading the movement by tilting my pelvis and not with activation of the glutes. I believe (1) to be better, here’s why?
————————————————————
One key function of the glutes is to control the position of the torso when we move. So, when we don’t activate the glutes in this way when performing a hip hinge we place far more strain on the lower back and miss out on developing the glutes performing one of their key functions. We could all do with more glute activation, as it transfers to so many movements on BJJ and day to day life.
