Yoga Stretches for Wrists and Forearms

Yoga Stretches for Wrists and Forearms

Have you ever ignored your wrists and forearms until they make you pay attention to them? Then they protest when you want to do fun things, such as yoga or BJJ?
This isn’t uncommon.

The muscles of the forearm are important because they work together to move the elbow, forearm, wrist, and fingers of the hand. We put a lot of pressure on these muscles when we train BJJ, work on arm balances, and even use them a ton in day to day life.

Stretching the wrists and forearms is important because it reduces tightness and by doing so – increasing elasticity and flexibility.

Massaging will increase blood flow which increases the temperature of the muscle and in turn, allows it to stretch and relax.

Simply put, they will just be happier, feel better, and stop protesting when you want to do fun things.

Here is a simple, quick sequence that will make your forearms and wrists love you again, and keep them happy for a very long time.

Try it out, and let me know how you like it!
