1st ever attempt trying to close an @ironmind Captain Of Crush #3. I’ve done no gripper training (with the exception of the last couple of days) for over a year. .

Given how much I’ve heard about the C.O.C. #3 (it’s the first certification level) I was pretty pleased I could close it partially. It feels achievable with the right training.

Lastly, while anything that makes your grips stronger, will have some cross over to BJJ, I’m not convinced a crushing grip is that necessary for BJJ. View the video in my bio for areas that are essential.
