Being in mount is a completely dominant position. And sure, when you are up against a brand new white belt or perhaps someone on the street. You are pretty much guaranteed to finish the submission. But when your opponent has some skills developed in escaping mount – then that’s a different story. In this video, I cover mount submission in no-gi. Many students struggle with the transition from gi to no-gi submission in mount because many cross chokes disappear. However, that doesn’t need to be the case.
