  8. Somebody teach Vinny how to wrestle, how to have better conditioning, striking, and how to properly apply heel hooks. He should go train heel hooks with John Danaher, and learn wrestling, striking, conditioning from Khabib, and Daniel Cormier.

  12. I'm glad Hall finally put to rest the nonsense about BJ turning the wrong way. There's way too many arm-chair BJJ guys on the Internet that do not understand the subtleties of the game, but like to speak with authority.

  16. Hall is wrong, he tried to roll and barely kicked that grip at all. BJ even said himself he doesn't know 50/50 guard in an interview in September 2018.

  17. Imagine if Vinny had gotten on top in that fight, this really is a perfect example of how BJJ's neglect of take downs hurts the style. His opponent is a great guy and deserves the million though.

    But yeah BJJ has got to get over starting on the knees, it's bullshit. Don't get me wrong we can skip the wrestling and start on the ground for some training purposes, but BJJ needs more focus on take downs.

  20. The IBJJF announcers always say the sport is supposed to simulate MMA, but I've never seen an MMA fighter butt scoot on an attack.

He talks about jiujitsu nerds walking around thinking there hard but hes walking around thinking hes hard cause hes in the ufc ?‍♂️bj pen is the only big name he has beaten and that's cause bj is washed up ,and he used bjj to tap him out ?

  28. It's pretty obvious that BJ made a technical error turning to his right which allowed his knee to pop even easier since the heel hook was going to his left.
