Hey could you please do a video on the sweeping single in the gi, amazing videos
Let into it! Hahaha
Yeah switch back I think
I prefer voice. Once again, great study.
Get a female voice. It will make it even more intriguing.
This format is better scout, please keep it up
I prefer the robot voice!
Awesome analysis, I appreciate the work you do for the entire Grappling Community. Voice over text allows me to focus more on the analysis.
Feliz Natal!
Why not have both text and voice, satisfying both crowds. Those who prefer text can mute and those who prefer voice can listen/and or read.
That is of course if doing both would not be too much of an inconvenience to you.
I very much appreciate your videos. Thank you.
Thank you for this Video. I would love to see a Scout Video of Baret Yoshida crucifix. Baret has been using this position from a long time ago.
I am really working on the crucifix at the moment. I also put myself in bottom side so the use of the chinstrap and loop choke from there are things I need to explore. Don't think the guys at my gym will like the chinstrap but it's totally legal and they need to be ready for it in competition.
I like the text and the groovin dance music myself but there's a lot of great info so I'm not complaining either way.
I like the new style. It's so clear and easy to follow.
Text and music pls
I miss the old background music to go with the Breakdown grabs my attention more
Prefer the cool music and text over this format. But I am grateful for anything that you have time to put out. Cheers!
I like the text-to-voice. I can watch the movement instead of trying to keep up with reading at the same time.
"Look into it" – I'm dying! hahahaha
I like the voice over! maybe you could put text on the screen as well for those who like to see the bullet points. I personally like to hear it.
Awesome work. I prefer the voice over to text.
Awesome breakdown BJJ Scout! I was fortunate enough to roll with Alexandre and now I have an insight into why I was tapping so much, but there is no stopping him . Easily the best grappler I have ever rolled, effortless submissions at his desire.
Love the Computer voice. It adds another element to your witty quips. It allows me to immediately grasp the technique instead of worrying about reading. I actually turn off the volume when music is played.
Scout,
As always, your content is absolutely awesome and you should be proud of it.
This is an outstanding work with high level analysis and clever observations.
I sincerely hope all the issues regarding unauthorized use of your videos are resolved in your favour. You deserve better.
Thank you from Brazil.
Best Regards
PS.: I also prefer text over voiceover, but don't mind me, feel free to keep the format that best suits you.
Keenan worm guarding someone nogi LMFAOOO
Good God man that no gi worm guard was savage
He's basically doing Baret's style of crucifix lol
AWESOME!!!!
BJJ SCOUT: C'mon man…please grow a pair & use a real voice ! This is cringey.
Please keep the voice. Also, I've been finding myself quite often in these entry positions so I've started to look for the crucifix more and I'm landing it. My problem is with the finishes. When attempting to sink in the choke my opponent keeps being able to turn into me. I'm guessing I need to pull him more atop of me? More pressure from the grapevine in his legs maybe? IDK, I'm right there I feel like this is almost mine.
so wicked mwhahaha!
Awesome new format @BJJScout !
Aloha BJJscout. Loving this video. I was wondering if you could do a video about the use of the two on one and Russian tie in grappling and mma. Seems like a strong positional control while standing. Just wondering if it has been explored much.
MOAR!!!
Guy Fox voice thumbs up.
8 ppl who disliked have been crucified .
Very nice video! Excelent athete!
I'm about 2 months into bjj now and the crucifix is something that naturally comes to me already. My only entry I've developed to break in a crucifix is a seatbelt rip. It becomes hard to lock the arm down if you do not keep the seatbelt tight. From here instead of using the lapel for a clock choke I normally try to use the seatbelt to pull their shoulders away from the crucifix to create more pressure on the shoulder and elbow. My rookie 2 cents on the only thing I've got going for me so far. Good luck turtle busters.
Omg this is some good stuff
Seems to me people learn different ways, for me I like the audio since I have a hard time seeing the words and trying to follow what's being pointed out at the same time. Maybe do both?
voice over is fantastic! much better for me as an auditory learner. plus i think the robotic voice gives you an air of mystery.
I still attack the arm with my leg, and is important how you block the arm before to attack, but thank you, I'm glad. oss
Wow, awesome video
Thanks! Being older, finding the leg hook for the arm entering the crucifix is actually easier many times than going after leg hooks for a more traditional back attack, due to hip dexterity ( or the lack there of). Also, following a long wrestling career, the "Merkle" leg hook is very familiar to me and I actually use it in BJJ from the "Dog Fight" position. Lots of good food for thought, thanks again!
sir can we have more slow motion please
