@3:10 I wish you would have ran the cruz/dillasaw duel bumping clip back another 2-3 seconds from where captions end and footage rolls. I know cruz spends a great deal of time nearly squared up or floating in between stances/levels of trunk flexion/weight distribution (all that jazz that makes him an outlier), but clip doesn't do the bump example in question justice when starts with cruz in a transitional non-concrete southpaw or orthodox stance…
    I"m not bitching… big fan ect ect…
Just a thought… don't mind my rant, that's alpine being alpine xox

Can you do a study of Max Holloway's ground game when you get a chance? I feel like it's a very underrated facet of his game.

If I do I will fight a prikkfri free match

  27. Jan Ove Sakkestad says

Two shot to the head he is training him the other guy is thinking he is aiming my head I have to protect my head. Cruz identify that the guys is protecting his head and then target his body. Easy does it.

  28. Jan Ove Sakkestad says

    April 11, 2017 at 5:20 am

Again Cruz moves right then left then right. This guy is reading Cruz movement like a open book he think. He dont know that Cruz wants him to read his pattern of movement and then exploit it to his advantage.

  29. Jan Ove Sakkestad says

    April 11, 2017 at 5:22 am

Cruz is pattern baiting but Faber dont react. He dont react okay then I can do what ever and hurt him.

  30. Jan Ove Sakkestad says

    April 11, 2017 at 5:24 am

Faber a hall of fame candidate ? Whats his achievement fighting in a division with poor standard.

  31. Jan Ove Sakkestad says

    April 11, 2017 at 5:26 am

My theory is that Cruz got lost in his own movement patterns against Cody. The pattern did nothing for him in that game Cody read his movement pattern as a open book.

Great breakdown, always great to get an insight into Cruz’s thinking 🙂

  33. ElevatedMindz says

Dominick Cruz is a great fighter but he drops his hands alot when he is throwing combinations. If he keeps his hands up he would have a more professional looking boxing style.
