    Good video.

I already used the move, now I have a better understanding of how/why/when to use it and where to transition when they resist.

Is it a choke or crank? Sometimes when people do this to me they just yank it and it feels like a crank…

What kind of submission actually is this, though? Just a brabo while on your side, or a crank? I've always wondered that.

BJJSCOUT how do you feel about the 10th Planet system as a whole? Would grapplers be better off focusing on the DLR and deep half as opposed to RG and Lockdown? For sport jitz, I mean. I'd also like to know how you feel about Rubber Guard in MMA. I'm not looking for controversy here, just your opinions. Thanks!

I'm a nobody but I have had success with initiating Peruvian Neck Tie, opponent defends by forward roll, I keep my grips (switching hand placement) and transition to the Brabo then usually to JNT. Hope it helps!

For a good details on finishing the Japanese Necktie do a search for "joe rogan danny castillo onnit" and watch the video of them an TJ Dillashaw training. The first technique Joe Rogan goes over is the Necktie and he points out a positional detail that makes all the difference is finishing it.

I learned the Japanese necktie -> Brabo choke sequence from Samir Chantre a few months ago, but only using necktie as a setup rather than a sub. Thanks for the ideas!
