  1. Hmm maybe but I don't think the channel has enough viewers to get much (to even over hosting a proper domain name for the blog even). But who knows, if the audience builds up enough things might change. I need to include some cute cat videos on this channel….

  2. no, simultaneous vids actually ARE good if both happen to demonstrate a commonality in his technique – I can always rewind and watch both if there are differences in them. It helps to show what is on video is not a one time thing but rather a go-to thing where the fighter keeps going back to the well!

  4. I agree. It's hard to criticize your always excellent vids, but the 2 frames is confusing and makes it hard to know what to watch. It's also not clear which frame the text pertains to in the 2×2 layout.

  5. Love your videos and love Rodolfo's game but I feel like this video is not nearly as in depth as your videos on Leandro Lo's passing game…maybe I am mistaken though! I'd rather wait longer for more in depth videos than get quick and short videos like this…

    I hope you guys spend a bit more on Rodolfo's game and go in depth more!

  9. hi yes, I actually did these more as "summary" vids, I was more trying to setup the next videos which are on his "innovations" (to stop all this inversion/turtling stuff). Hopefully those next one(s) will shed some light on why I wanted to talk about these more "fundamental" aspects. yes Rodolfo is more than just a normal pressure passer, I will go into that in the next ones for sure!

  12. I like that you are experimenting to find the best way to present the topic you want to cover. I can't imagine a person having time to do a study on every position every player uses.

    So, keep up the good work. I like that you have a focus, add some setups for it so the detailed work makes more sense.

    I appreciate this video for what it is.

Thanks for the support, it's funny sometimes, I want to mainly make tactics videos rather than instructional/moves but when I jump to tactic videos immediately (imagine if I made DLR counters first) I get a lot of questions on what are the "basics" so I thought I would try like a mini-foundation first. But I end up "losing" my focus on tactics…hmm its with feedback from you guys that I can zero in on a good format though, so pls keep giving me feedback

  20. From a judoka like I am, Rodolfo Vieira is one of my favorite BJJ'ers. He does not fight like the other top-notch bjj players like the Mendes' or the Miyaos'. His guard passing resembles to how Judo fighters mount. What's more interesting, his knowledge of BJJ did not come from a Gracie lineage.

    of course I do some spider/lasso passes that i learnt from the mendes bros and leandro lo
