Ana Vieira is one of the most successful female BJJ competitors of her generation with multiple IBJJF world titles and an ADCC world title on her resume. She is currently preparing for the biggest female tournament in the history of the sport at CJI 2, where $100,000 is on the line.
Jits Magazine’s Alex Lindsey spoke to Ana about her experience growing up with her brother Rodolfo Vieira, and what it was like as one of the few women in the training room at first. Ana also explained how it felt to win her first IBJJF world title, and her incredible performance at ADCC 2024 last year. She then talked about the most difficult battle of her career, returning to training after a traumatic experience at IBJJF worlds in 2023.
