Josh Barnett is a former UFC heavyweight world champion and one of the world’s biggest proponents of catch wrestling. Josh has had a remarkable combat sports career that has taken him all over the world to compete in both MMA and submission grappling.
Jits Magazine’s Alex Lindsey spoke to about how he first discovered catch wrestling, and the steps he’s taken to revitalize the sport. Josh shared some unique insight into what he thinks are flaws in several Jiu-Jitsu rulesets, and also explained why he still values the guard even in catch wrestling.
