Tsunetane Oda (1892-1955) was a judoka who was influential in the development of Kosen judo.

Kosen judo’s competition rules allowed for greater emphasis of newaza ( ground techniques) than in mainstream judo, and it bears many similarities to modern Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
