One thing that you learn very quickly when you enter a Jiu-Jitsu Academy for the first time and start rolling with experienced practitioners. You get tapped quickly, often and seemingly with ease. It’s frustrating and massively ego depleting. So much so that very few attend the next class. That’s a pity. Because, Jiu-Jitsu, if you allow it – will change your life for the positive. No matter who you are and what your life circumstances. Now having said that being tapped is no fun. Particularly if you don’t know why.
