  8. Why didnt you show the armbar or the multiple sweep attempts? Also, it wasn't closed guard holding a guy and waiting for time to expire. It was open guard. The passer can try to pass instead of stay on his knees. You can't take away that this fight sequence basically happened again with Gordon vs Buchecha in the absolute finals minus the armbar attempt. Buchecha was on top but did not try. Gordon got a sweep before it counted and did not complete it. Gordon won as he should have.

  11. Any time a fight goes to refs decision you have to just accept this. Any fighter knows that if you let the judges control your fate then what happens happens. I wish this channel would go back to actually analyzing the matches. Instead you devote your time to reporting on instagram and twitter. ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️ Cyborg is a legend and if Gordon didn’t want to get slapped around maybe he should do something about it??‍♂️

  12. This video is bias as shit. Why didn’t you show the whole clip of the match where Cyborg had a nice arm lock attempt and I believe take down attempt? Also he is still mixing it up and beating people a lot younger than himself didn’t he just win the IBJJf Heavy Weight Grand Prix? Nicky Rod is a beast and top of the food chain and he’s still getting better which is scary but it was a ref decision (A bad one in my opinion, not that it matters). Nothing against click bait, I know you gotta make your money but this was a shit video. If you want to be fair isn’t this the same scenario that played out between Gordon and Buchecha? I don’t get the point of it except to put Cyborg down and maybe fan boy DDS.

  13. Over time in any sport, the current generation should be an improvement over the previous. Doesn't justify his attitude but it stands to reason that he wouldn't be on top anymore. Of course there are exceptions like Roger.

  15. Everyone loses the battle with time. Until you get older you don’t realize how big of a deal that is. For anyone to still be elite in a combat sport at almost 40 is crazy. The deal with DDS is really a clash of cultures. The new generation accepts the shit talking as just entertainment, in the past that is disrespect – which is a big deal.
    No one who know Cyborg or who’s trained with him doesn’t love the guy. Similarly anyone who knows/trains with Gordon says he’s a humble respectful dude in person. But their worlds are very different.

He lost for a "blue belt" (considering we have belts in nogi), who's been wrestling for the last 10 years, but I don't see any shame for losing a single match against someone like Nicky. Nobody is unbeatable.

  22. We all lose the fight against time eventually. However, in the case of Cyborg, I think he has lost the fight against his own ego.

  27. Wtf are you talking about? He just won the Nogi heavyweight and did quite well at adcc. While that juiced dude was a blue belt, he is also a lifetime wrestler and was defeating a lot of good guys already. He won a silver medal and Cyborg barely lost to him (in some eyes, he didn't) so what the hell are you talking about? he is still one of the best

  34. Cyborg didn't engage with NickyRod so he deserved to lose the match. The thing about DDS, even if you don't like their attitudes, they push the action and always make it fun to watch.

  35. Cyborg is a cry baby, he goes on Instagram posting how one should never give up, yet in ADCC he gave up and didn't want to do the absolute LOL.
    Cyborg was once a beast, but we have seen he cannot take a loss, especially if it's coming from DDS.

  36. It’s interesting to see an account go from having expert technical analysis to a news account. Which now is questioning an individual who is arguably one of the greater heavy weights in jiu jitsu history. Not commenting on whether Cyborg was in the right or wrong, but I can only hope to see this account go back to it’s roots, superior analysis, the best hands down on social platforms.

  39. Bottom line for Gordon, don’t open your mouth if you can’t tolerate the consequences. Words still have meaning. Everyone has free speech but be ready to back it up on and off the mat.
