  3. Bragging about how much you're worth when mommy and daddy's money paid for everything isn't a good look. But then, that hardly ever stopped Gordon from making an ass out of himself, has it? Hinger hit the nail right on the head: Gordon had his shot to be locked in to face Galvao, and he got dominated 6-0. Superfight champ doesn't fight the absolute silver medalist. So, in the words of Street Fighter: try again, kiddo.

  6. Galvao would lose so quick. For example gordon ryan walked through josh barnett. Josh barnett walked through ryron gracie. Galvao couldnt do shit to ryron gracie though. Gordon ryan smashed ralek. Its easy to see who would win in galvao vs ryan. Ryan would win the match.

  16. Some people think Gordon is some unbeatable guy. He just lost to Vinny Magalhaes and almost lost to Dillon Danis. This would be a good match up to see. This would definitely be the biggest super fight to make.

  29. I would’ve loved to watch the Galvao who beat cyborg or Calasans vs Gordon Ryan. I’m worried he’s getting old though. We’ll have to see what he looks like against Pena. I thought he’d be too old when he fought Calasans

  31. I kinda hate this wwe/ufc style trash talk in BJJ. I love both these guys talents and knowledge… I know we want to grow the sport but I will hate it if it becomes this.

  34. The "Conor McGregor" effect…. Talk shit to sell fights…. I can't blame Gordon Ryan, because it IS getting him paid, however, unlike a lot of other combat sport stars, he IS also actually winning matches and accomplishing a lot. The argument of "Well he's not doing it in a gi"…. Where were all these people a few years back when no gi, leg locking, EBI rule tournaments became the "rage"???? EVERYONE started on this "Fuck the IBJJF" and "leg locks forever" kick, and NOBODY shut that shit down……. Now arguably one of the best guys, who is winning and calling out people, starts getting shit talked back by traditionalists. Sorry, but in my opinion, (And I HIGHLY respect everything Andre Galvao has done and accomplished in BJJ)…. You can't be selling "Everyday Porrada", instigate a fight by attacking Gordan Ryan's nickname, then back down when challenged…. People have said that they would put up money, Andre has to fight.

    The other thing is this….. Right now, it IS the only match on the BJJ horizon that is the biggest match to make. I'd love to see a BJJ PPV with this match, and other high level matches that can/will get us athletes PAID for BJJ.

  41. Gordon better quit taking TRT, steroids, or whatever TF he is taking. It is painfully obvious, and it casts a bad light on him. He won't last long in this game with the way he is going. Injuries become all too common for people who abuse PDEs early in life.

  42. Very good point my man makes. No matter how entitled or cocky you are, winning gets you opportunities, not running your dick sucker. You want the super match? Win the titles and he CAN"T dodge you. He is just used to being handed the world on a silver platter and gets offended and triggered when things don't go how he wants them to. To be so tough and rough, he sure is a big whinny bitch. Sure them roids are doing a number on his hormones and brain too. Sad that all of the respect in Martial Arts is gone, and now we're left with entitled, superficial, millennial douchebags…. SMH
