We move to another camp, this time my most recent one in Las Vegas. In this one, I was working with a small group and doing a Q&A session. The question was guillotines, so we explored a few options attacking with it.
The first option we went over was the classic Sit Up Guillotine from closed guard. Much like how you would sit up for a Kimura, this is the same entry, except now we are going for his neck.
One of the main finishing details behind getting a good Guillotine that many people miss is that you do NOT want to fall back. Instead, you want to fall on top of their head. This gives you a much better angle to choke, while making it much harder for them to defend and counter.
