Slipped Jab to Double

While transitioning from a striking sequence to a wrestling entry is solid, it’s even better to interrupt your opponent’s striking with a well timed take down.

First, your opponent’s weight will be off balance when you get them to commit to a strike. Second, their hands will be out of position to defend and often so will their body.

In this case, we are simply slipping a jab and immediately closing the gap to a nice double leg entry.
