This is a system I like to use when passing a tricky open guard where my opponent defends with a wide leg position. Often when you opponent had wide legs it is difficult to attack a toreando or a knee cut, and if they are flexible stacking can be difficult as well, I have found this leg pinning system to help me immensely in locking one of my opponents limbs down and setting up the pass. Tye Ruotolo used this style of passing a lot this weekend at ADCC when fighting both Paulo Miyao and Kennedy Maciel. Let me know if you guys have any questions.
