In the beginning, martial arts masters said “jiu-jitsu doesn’t work on us.”  Today, every professional fighter does jiu-jitsu. Then, BJJ masters said “learning online doesn’t work.” Today, they’re all offering online courses. Most recently, some BJJ black belts said “only a black belt can teach jiu-jitsu.” Today, we have 159 Certified Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Training Centers worldwide, over 90% of which were started by blue belt instructors – Johnny Vasquez was one of them.

Bottom line is this: It doesn’t matter what your rank is, if you love jiu-jitsu, you can teach jiu-jitsu to anyone willing to listen. Now, whether your successful enough to captivate a community and grow a super successful school (like Johnny’s) is going to depend on three critical factors: the structure of the curriculum, the culture of the school, and the business model you implement. It took us 100 years to figure it out, but in all three categories we’ve cracked the code and we’re eager to teach you, so that you can change lives with jiu-jitsu.

Keep in mind, that we only certify ONE instructor/school in each territory, so no matter what stage you’re at, if you think teaching jiu-jitsu the Gracie way is in your future, you’ll want to check to see if your territory is available.
