Big Secret – My 40 Year Old Students Are The Toughest!

This may be different to a lot of academies…but I get the feeling that it’s probably not. The toughest guys in my academy – are around 40 years old! now that might be counter intuitive. One would suspect that as the decades move along that the students would get a little weaker. But, certainly, in my academy, the opposite seems to be true. The reason for this phenomena is, I think, simple…the 40-year-olds don’t come with bags of ego and just forget about the bullsh@t and just want to learn, roll and get better. It’s that simple. Any why should it be any other way. Let me know your thoughts guys?
