The scissor sweep is easily still one of my favorite sweeps to hit. Most people use it for transitions. (Which isn’t a bad thing. The scissor sweep is a great tool to set up many techniques) is still like to use it for the sweep.

I still hit this technique on black belts. (Gi only) I just use this simple tip that helps me hit it.

In this video I show a few different leg lock entries from turtle and the back. Both lead to heel hooks, knee bars, leg compressions and toe holds. Drill this series – very sneaky and very effective. Careful with the heel hooks – it’s a very small space from a tap to an injury. Flow smooth – release and apply with care! Happy hunting ninja!
