Triangle to Omoplata? Try This Submission Chain First!

When you catch the triangle position, a common answer especially from bigger players is to wrap around the leg and stall. Sometimes just to stop the progression of the attack and breathe. A common answer is to switch to the omoplata attack. The omoplata is a perfectly fine option but at higher levels it generally leads to a sweep as opposed to the submission. I prefer giving this attack sequence a try before chasing the omoplata as it offers a lot more submission options for bjj competitions as well as street fighting situations.
