Tutorial Showing The Four Lines Of Take Down Defense For Beginners. The four lines of defense are your takedown defense in wrestling. Demonstration is in steps. Subscribe for more wrestling technique videos, many more coming soon!
Simple demonstration of the four lines of defense in folkstyle and freestyle wrestling: 1. head, 2. hands, 3. forearms, 4. hips. This will all come from having a good wrestling stance and being in proper position.
Your head level must match his, or your opponent is past one line of defense. Many people only use their sprawl when defending a takedown from neutral. You have three lines of defense to defend their shot before you have to sprawl.
This video is good for people who are new to wrestling and looking for instruction, for people just beginning or learning wrestling, or for anyone who wants to improve their wrestling basics or fundamentals.

Recently, I started a wrestling-based charity. It is called “Wrestling Shoes For you” and is aimed at donating wrestling gear (shoes, headgears, kneepads, etc.) to underprivileged youth. If you could stop my Facebook page and give it a like/possibly donate any old gear you have laying around, it will help a great cause.

This video explains the names behind the rubber guard (why they are called what they are) and a step by step method behind the BASIC rubber guard set up.
There are MANY variations and attack positions but I only cover the basics here: mission control, zombie, new york, chill dog, kung fu move into jiu claw.
There are more advanced attacks and sweeps from anyone of those positions like: invisible collar, asylum, straight jacket, double bagger, reaper, gogoplata, locoplata, Croc, swim move and MANY more.

There are several ways and grips to set up the Peruvian Necktie. This is how we do it in the 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu system. You can’t have your hands too tight or they will pop off when you sit back and throw the leg over. This is a very tight choke which comes on in less than 3 seconds.
