Yesterday we did some street-Jitsu tests on the live stream to see how grappling would play out with various clothing types and scenarios. This is a great explanation of general plan the governments and the collective humanity have decided on to actually make a difference in the fate of the people who could die from this virus. It’s done on a human level and we all kinda need to be on the same page about it. Some guy was banging on my window at the gym, trying to tell me something about how he had come all the way from some other country to see legion. Kind of uncomfortable. I couldn’t let him in.

This is a severe issue. You can make jokes and memes all day. But people are dying and it’s only the beginning. Jiujitsu gyms need to do their part to slow down the infection rate to relieve the healthcare system as we reach higher levels of infection across the states. The cdc has asked all events of 100 people or more to cancel. That’s an average day for a Bjj gym in SoCal. If your gym doesn’t close soon you will be part of the issue of spread and threaten many many elderly lives. Do not wait for it to be near your area.
