Want to improve your timing with your BJJ techniques? Everyone does, right? In this video I’m going to share a simple idea you need to look for, or rather feel for, during your rolling and drilling that will help you improve your timing.
I came across this idea of physical cues when I was a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. I started noticing that many techniques have this “feeling” of when it’s time to go, and the more I zeroed in on that feeling the better my timing got.
In the video I’ll share the idea with you and I’ll share a few techniques and the physical cues. My encouragement to you after watching is to find the physical cues of your techniques in your BJJ training.
Thanks for watching.

And in that video I shared a glimpse of how I am escaping from side control now. It’s all based on the principle of working for structure first then moving towards the escape afterward.
Now in this video, you will learn some of the attacks that can be used once the structure is established even if your opponent tries to transition.
