On Episode 8 of Evolution of the Ground, we follow the return of the three-time EBI champion Garry Tonon, on his quest to defend his Lightweight title, the very first title he won with the organization at the inaugural Eddie Bravo Invitational. Across from him is the EBI veteran Vagner Rocha. The ADCC bronze medalist who previously beat Tonon and prevented him from placing in 2017’s ADCC. Tonon also shares his thoughts about his future with submission grappling and his new venture into the world of MMA.

I had the opportunity to work with the 5 time World Champion Bernardo Faria this weekend in Boston, MA. Just got finished filming a new Rubber Guard set for BJJ Fanatics, and to film some material for Bernardo’s new website.

It was an incredible and surreal experience to be able to get on the mats with him and show him such an important part of my game and to have him take such genuine interest in it.

A professional competitor since 2008, Ferguson was the winner of The Ultimate Fighter 13. In 2017, Ferguson defeated Kevin Lee (from his back) to become the interim UFC Lightweight Champion.
