Usually i dont get to post about @heysonnyy because she always sucks and never wins anything. But this time shes the only one who won anything ?. So proud of you for so many reasons. Showed a big improvement in juji gatame escapes from the short time you got finished in the last kasai until now. Much improved listening skills, and overall an improved sense of direction during competition matches. Beautiful front head lock-> figure 4 guillotine-> mounted high elbow finish. Another amazing show by @kasaigrappling. Cant wait to be healed up to come wreck the roster. Its not even gonna be close?. @ouchmedical @flograppling
Good luck to my coach, my training partner, and my best friend @garrytonon. No body on this planet works harder than him. And it will show during this fight. @onechampionship

Reposted from @starlordbjj – Man @gordonlovesjiujitsu has always had a crazy ability to escape fully locked in arm bars. Years before his crazy escape against Craig Jones, Gordon was able to escape this tight arm bar in the semi-finals of the first Sapateiro Invitational against @pbarch10p before going on to win the 160lb division.

Talk about a throw back. The 170 lb @finishers_subonly. I did a 20 lb weight cut for this and had just recieved my brown belt. 1st round match up with @matheuslutes who is on quite the roll right now. He was a blue belt at the time
Happy to finally announce my partnership with @gymking @gymkingfightdivision. Not only do they have amazing clothes they taking over combat sports sponsoring all the top athletes. ??????
Mechanics- having perfect breaking mechanics is something that @danaherjohn drilled into our heads from the 1st day he met us. He always said that if and when we get to a position to finish people we should be confident the match is over. Finishing mechanics are one of the most undertaught and poorly taught parts of the sport but are also the most important. The reason you see so many submissions in high level competition isnt because athletes have outstanding finishing mechanics (most of the time they dont) but because most athletes dont practice late escapes when they are already put in bad spots. So they fight as hard as they can to not get put in a submission and then when do get put there they just give up. Here is a video of a beautiful kimura performed by @grouse_armstrong. Dropping from 2 knees to a side control/north south, stepping over the head and positioning herself perfectly along the power line to get a beautiful break at the elbow and actually dislocating the elbow to a point where it stayed out of the socket. For most people this is brutal to watch. But for a true student and scientist of the sport there is nothing more enjoyable than watching a perfectly performed submission.

Some more guard passes again against the highlest level athletes on earth. If i can do it to them you can do it to your partners. @hypnotik @musclepharm @mpcombat @flograppling @kimerakoffee @studio540 @kimurasoapcp
SEMINARS ARE ON- Some people have been asking whether or not I will be teaching in the coming weeks. The answer is YES. While i do have a gimpy leg that doesnt change the fact that i have a job to do. I owe it to my fans who drive or fly hours and hours to be there. @danaherjohn always runs 2 people through movements verbally when he cant do them physically. Dont worry my friends we will make this all work out. Plus you have the bonus of watching me freak out on @heysonnyy if she messes up any moves ahha. Im excited to see you all i promise these seminars will blow your mind 🙂 @hypnotik
