Rolling backtakes have become part of modern jiu-jitsu, but they’re undeniably intimidating. Here’s the simplest one you can do: just learn to identify the trigger position (3/4 mount), make sure his hands are on one side of your body, and then roll on the other side. There are many details, tweaks, and variations that we’ll cover at some point in the future, but I just want to get you hitting this move so that you learn to believe in it. Let me know how this goes!

Over the last few years, I have won quite a few rolling backtake battles. All because of one reason. I understood the central micro battle in the transition, and that often led to opportunities to either reverse the backtake or at least kill the threat..
And you’ll learn that same lesson in this video.

Total Back Control Online Course: https://www.mmaleech.com/TotalBackControl/
Have you noticed that the one common trait among all top guys in our sport is that they have insanely good Back Control?
They rarely lose the position, and once they get there, it’s over… their finishing rate is extremely high!
So it’s no wonder that the Back is considered the most dominant position in Jiu Jitsu, and when it’s done right, it’s virtually IMPOSSIBLE to escape from.
I’m talking about world-class Black Belts being controlled and submitted – that’s how strong the Back Control is!
Now that’s a skill, and it comes with hours and hours of training and repetition…
But if you wanna get good at it, you gotta start somewhere, and most importantly, start it right… you simply can’t afford to waste time trying to figure this out all by yourself.
You need proper guidance that’s gonna lead you to substantial improvements in your Jiu Jitsu, in the least amount of time.
As you may suspect, it’s no accident that all top guys in our sport are insanely good at the Back Control. There is a SYSTEM behind all that success, and I’m about to break it down for you…
A reliable system that allows you to STAY on your opponent’s Back for as long as necessary, until you find your submission.
Knowing how to stay glued to your opponent and recover the Back as he tries to escape is a huge piece of the puzzle, and I cover it in detail during this course!
Your opponent will only escape if you make a mistake, and you will be able to immediately identify what it is if you follow this system by the letter. You’ll also keep sharpening and tightening up your Back Control based on the feedback you receive during practice.
You see, if you are losing the most dominant position in Jiu Jitsu and can’t figure out what’s wrong, it’s time to get serious about it and invest in yourself.
Total Back Control is a complete system on how to take, maintain, recover, and finish from the Back position.
Most of the techniques taught in this course are followed by competition footage examples, so you can rest assured this is not just some theoretical stuff that only works if your opponent is offering little to no resistance – NOPE, that’s not how we do things over here.
The whole course is filled with battle-tested techniques that have been proven to work over and over again, so you can start implementing them into your game right away.
Gi or No-Gi, no problem – we give valuable tips for both styles.

Have you noticed that when high level black belts take their opponent’s back the match is pretty much over? They will either submit them or stay on their backs till the end of the match. In this video, world champ Gustavo Gasperin breakes down a back take technique into 3 steps, to be used when you are in side control and your opponent tries to escape from it by shooting his underhook. Transitions and timing are everything!
