Recently I got a question from a viewer who is curious about whether or not his training partners are using dick moves during rolling. He says that in particular a couple of them use their fist and drive it into his neck and face.
When this happens, he gets a bit upset and begins to get more aggressive because he wants to smash them for being rough with him.
But his question boils down to this. Is this kind of practice dirty or is it acceptable?
So in the video I explain when it’s perfectly acceptable to use pain and be a little bit of an a-hole to achieve your technical aim.

The Dope Mount is used consistently in gi, no gi, and MMA grappling to climb directly into mount through your opponent’s guard. The legwork is in four steps as follows…
1) Turn his legs to one side and split them apart
2) Bring your front side knee between his legs and all the way up to his butt
3) Bring your back side knee to his lower back
4) Now climb your front side knee to his belly
If you combine this legwork with an underhook on his upper body (or even two underhooks which is even more powerful) then you end up in a devastatingly effective mount position
