There are many ways to use the Lockdown. As explained in this video, this is when we face the same side as our Half Guard without a leg in hand like #ElectricChair. Like all #LockdownSweeps the 5-0 rescues us from a bad bottom position to a sweep with a pass and even sub options

The wrestlers Switch is a great way to attack the Back for BJJ as well! Use the Switch when an opponent gets the Underhook in Half Guard or bait a pass to hit it. BJJ+Wrestling =Greatness

Getting smashed in half guard when your opponent has the cross face and underhook sucks! Here are 3 of my favorite responses to this situation, including 1) the Kamikaze Sweep, 2) the Butterfly Lift, and 3) the Twist Sweep.
Each of these techniques has an aggressive option ending in a sweep where you get to the top, and a less aggressive option where you use the threat of the sweep to re-establish a good guard position. You can also chain these threats together making it extremely difficult for your opponent to hold you down.
