This ham sandwich entry comes from diving to seemingly pass de la Riva. It looks more complicated than it is, and it is definitely confusing for the bottom player on the receiving end…which makes it a cool option. If it fails to result in the full ham sandwich, it can still result in a guard pass or even back take.

This is one of the best uses of K-Guard to uproot an opponent, and create an entry to the heel hook from backside 50/50. This is from a seminar on attacking from guard while mitigating striking potential. This seminar will be available with many others on my Patreon soon.
