The triangle choke is one of the staples of Jiu Jitsu, but there are many points in the transition to the finish where the attack can be countered.

This video I go over the benefits and multiple uses of the tricep grip. The tricep grip is one of my favorite tools for attacking submissions because it makes it so difficult for your opponent to maintain his elbow knee connection to defend triangles and armbars. Its also a great way to control your opponents posture and set up sweeps from butterfly and berimbolos.
