Gianni Grippo is a multiple-time IBJJF no gi world champion and ADCC veteran who has spent over a decade at the top of the sport. Gianni is currently preparing to compete at EBI 25, where he is one of several elite lightweights battling it out for the title.
Jits Magazine’s Alex Lindsey spoke to Gianni about his journey from being a young child in multiple sports to becoming one of the top Jiu-Jitsu competitors of his generation. He explained why he diversified his skills after his initial success at black belt and what he plans to improve on in the future too. Gianni also shared some insight into his training methods and looked toward his appearance at EBI 25.
