Can you escape this LEG LOCK position?
A lot of the HEEL HOOK finishes we see lately seem to be coming from this position, the Cross Ashi (Honey Hole) & if you end up this deep in the position, you’re running out of options.
BMAC is here with a LAST MINUTE HEEL SLIP escape you can try if you feel like you’re out of options.
If you want to see more of Brandon’s leg lock instruction, pick up his leg lock set for $39 here:

The Mount is one of the most dominant positions in combat, especially for striking purposes.
However, it can be easily reversible to the uninitiated.
There is also more than one way to mount, as there are several different positions within the mount. The basic ones, low, seated, and high mount, are the most common that need to be learned to be effective in controlling top position. I go over each and their pros and cons in this video.

What separates those with the ability to submit white/blue belts from those with the ability to submit purple/brown/black belts?
It’s the use of attacking systems.
Without a system with clearly defined paths, you will struggle to submit even intermediate level opponents.
The North South Attacking system was designed to keep me one step ahead of my opponent. I want to keep opponents in a constant dilemma, where each choice leads them one step closer to being submitted.
– Tired of trying the same 3 submissions from North/South?
– Feeling lost on how to take the next step offensively in your game?
– Looking for a Systematic approach to attacking from North/South?
This instructional is for you!

This is the first way of opening the guard most people will learn.
Yet, I see this so riddled with mistakes at all levels. If you are grinding your elbows into your opponent’s thighs and wondering why this isn’t breaking their guard – I have news for you.
You are doing it wrong.
This guard break is about leverage, not charlie horsing. Learning how to optimize your explosive break and press open the guard is a crucial skill, along with the proper use of the knee wedge (which most people don’t use correctly either).

The Rear Naked Choke is the number 1 submission of all time. Partly due to the dominance of the back mount position and the strength and simplicity of the strangulation. Early prevention of the choke in jiu-jitsu is always best bust you must have plans for different stages of the choke.

One of the easiest ways of getting stuck in the guard is being in bad posture. Bad postures allow your opponent to easily hold their guard, submit you, sweep, you, and do all sorts of other bad things.
Good posture, however, allows you to weaken their guard, minimize threats, and achieve good striking positions.
In this video, I go over 3 basic postures: striking, grappling, and broken. I will say even at a black belt level, its very rare to find someone who has the striking posture down 100% – they always miss one detail regarding head positioning that is crucial.

BMAC is back to talk about using the KNEE TAP from the DOG FIGHT position to set up the KHABIB GRIP.
This grip is a powerful grip that allows you to use your own body weight combined with your opponents bodyweight to trap their arm.
You’ll find this grip in a bunch of spots when your opponent bases on their elbow.
People don’t want to be on the ground with UFC Lightweight Champ Khabib Nurmagomedov so they’re options?
Try post on their elbow and begin to get up (Bad move)
Or expose their back (Also a bad move)
You will see Khabib use this grip in a majority of his fights.
