The Leg Drag is one of the strongest positions in Jiu Jitsu, but when you combine it with the back take threat it becomes almost unstoppable.
In this video, 3rd-degree black belt Miad Najafi gives a comprehensive tutorial on his take on the leg weave pass.

This is similar to the the back take, but with a twist. When we secure the body lock, we just shimmy our way down their hips and get really low. This takes away leverage from their whizzer, and gets you closer to controlling their center of mass. We can do this anytime we half a tight waist or an under hook from half guard, but it works will with the rolling sweep too.

My friend Scott Clawson and I recently got to train together again, and it is always fun to discuss different things we like to do. In this video, we each show one of our favorite collar choke setups from turtle position, with some great little details that make these extra nasty. Hope you like these!
Always be as safe as possible in training and competition. I hope these details help. Thanks as always for watching!

Today’s video is about how I got my nickname Chewy in BJJ. In the video I’ll share how I actually got the nickname because I elbowed someone in the mouth during my spazzy days as a White Belt.
Not a whole lot to learn from in this video necessarily. But I hope you find it at least a bit entertaining.
As always thanks for watching.
