A defense to an offense to play with from bottom half guard when the top person uses their arm to leg lace and control your bottom leg. Take note, you cannot allow your bottom leg to be controlled! So this happened today… While I was teaching for @blackbeltmag to raise funds for our first responders, Master @liboriobjj asked me a question about the Kimura series I was demonstrating. It was a special moment for me. 20yrs ago when I was kid traveling to Brazil & taking private lessons from this man who was already a legend & someone I was in awe of, never in a million years would I have imagined that one day he would ask me a Jiu-Jitsu related question. I’m sure he was just being nice, but it still made my day. During this quarantine I have done a couple of Lives with Master Liborio, one for his UCF students & one for Instagram & then we had this today. Reconnecting with him has been amazing! What a beautiful journey 🙏🏼
