http://teachmegrappling.com This video introduces you to Gerry Abas. Gerry is a 3 time NCAA Division 1 Finalist and Peterson Grapplers got the pleasure of having him at our summer wrestling camp 2017. He demonstrates a really awesome attack to use against a deep underhook by your opponent. This move comes from one of the greatest wrestlers in history from Russia, Buvaisar Satiev. Enjoy! Chad Hardy(BJJ black belt)vs Pankration black belt (fight for autism super fight)
Two of my students and I went to support a grappling tournament in Tennessee to raise money for autism.
I wasn’t going to compete but they guilted me into doing a super fight. So here it is. Grappling for a great cause!
Props to my opponent for taking the match last minute. I was happy to be a part of the cause.
Jiu-Jitsu Escape | Side Control Escape Into Darce Choke
One of my favorite side control escapes, because of how useful it is and how many back-up plans exist in the sequence, this escape can also lead you directly into a couple of different potential submission opportunities. My favorite thing if I hit this escape is to look for the Darce choke. Let me know what you think!

Simple Begginer Sweep That Can Lead to a Tap
This Sweep is very simple and it comes from the seated guard. I really love using this motion to get in on my attacks. I will ether reach out and grab control of the hand/wrist or bait them to grab my hand. Ether one works and it will give me an effective way to get in on the legs and start attacking.
I mix my attacks between going under the legs and going to the de la riva. depending on the positioning of their legs. in my match my opponents legs were spread really far apart which mad it easy for me to get under and attack this sweep. If his legs were closer I may have went to another attack instead.
Thanks to Steven for the viewer video at the end! I showed this wrist lock setup to the takedown a few weeks ago and he hit it in a competition! If you have video of yourself hitting one of the techniques I’ve shown or just have something silly to share and you wanna be on the channel send an email to chad@chadthebeasthardy.com
Jiu-Jitsu Submissions | Kimura, Sweep & Choke Sequence
Closed guard is making a comeback these days, and for good reason. It offers a lot of control along with attack options in combination like the ones in this video. This sequence is sure to elicit some responses that will lead to advancing your position, if not catching a submission.

Easy Posture Break Against Strong Grapplers
I have been using this posture break since I was a kid. It works really well against strong grapplers that do not want to give up the double elbow drive.
If their elbows are not dug in and they are going two hands on the hip it makes it even easier you just have to pop the inside of the elbow and grab the backside. This leads into some really good attacks.
Sometimes you will run into people that just let go when you go for it and that’s fine. As long as your hips are free to move again?

Jiu-Jitsu Escapes | Escapes from Technical Mount & Gift Wrap Positions
Technical mount, or kneeling mount, can be extremely tricky to escape. The top opponent has submission opportunities and is close to taking your back, not to mention the additional dangers if it is a striking situation.
These are some of the most solid escapes I have learned and that I use to get out of this difficult position. This video offers two early escapes and two late ones from both standard technical mount as well as with the gift wrap control.
I hope you like these and find them useful. Thank you for watching!

Powerful White Belt Sweep to Use on Bigger Opponents
I learned this sweep as a white belt and have been using it ever since. It works really well with off balancing a bigger opponent.
Sometimes you will see me just sit guard and try this on bigger opponent so I save my back from trying to wrestle them. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Which grappler doesn’t have tight hip flexors!?
Want to see Sebastian channel his inner Michael Jackson? You’re in the right spot!
When you’re done laughing, continue with the video – you will stretch your quads and give your hip flexors a bit of a break.
These are the poses we never do in jiu jitsu, but it’s so essential to counter all the movements from training.
If you feel any kind of pain while doing this, use the modifications showed/mentioned by Sebastian! If it still hurts, please go to https://www.yogaforbjj.net and contact us! We’ll be able to give you more guidance and tips.
