This simple idea has made my attachment on overhooks far more effective. And that’s not the only situation that it is effective in either. In this video, you will get a more thorough explanation and see two applications for inspiration.
Enjoy, and comment if you have questions.

Josh Barnett is a former UFC heavyweight world champion and one of the world’s biggest proponents of catch wrestling. Josh has had a remarkable combat sports career that has taken him all over the world to compete in both MMA and submission grappling.
Jits Magazine’s Alex Lindsey spoke to about how he first discovered catch wrestling, and the steps he’s taken to revitalize the sport. Josh shared some unique insight into what he thinks are flaws in several Jiu-Jitsu rulesets, and also explained why he still values the guard even in catch wrestling. Josh also spoke about his own submission grappling career, from ADCC 1999 all the way up to superfights with Gordon Ryan and Owen Livesey.
