BREAKING NEWS
The jiu jitsu community is abuzz with the news that ADCC has announced its decision to switch from UFC Fight Pass to the FloGrappling platform. This significant development has sparked a great deal of discussion and speculation about the reasoning behind the move and the potential implications for the sport.
The Role of ADCC Open Events in the Organization’s Strategy:
ADCC Open events, which are amateur tournaments, play a vital role in fostering new talent and providing opportunities for growth in the jiu jitsu community. These events are key to the ADCC’s overarching strategy, and their promotion and exposure are essential to the organization’s success.
The Possible Motivation Behind the Move to FloGrappling:
One theory behind ADCC’s move to FloGrappling suggests that it is related to the coverage of ADCC Open events. UFC Fight Pass was not featuring these amateur tournaments on their platform, which may have been a factor in the decision to switch. FloGrappling, on the other hand, appears to be better equipped to accommodate ADCC’s vision for promoting both professional and amateur competitions. With its production capabilities and staff, FloGrappling can provide the necessary broadcasting resources for these events.
Exploring the Potential Impact on the Jiu Jitsu Community:
The shift to FloGrappling may have far-reaching implications for the jiu jitsu community. By partnering with a platform that shares its vision and has the means to showcase amateur tournaments, ADCC can help support the growth and development of jiu jitsu athletes at all levels. This move could potentially result in increased exposure and opportunities for up-and-coming talent.
ADCC’s decision to transition to FloGrappling is a major development in the world of jiu jitsu. Although the specific reasons behind the move remain speculative, the potential benefits for both the organization and the broader jiu jitsu community are undeniable.
We’re eager to know what you think about ADCC’s move to FloGrappling. How do you feel about this shift, and what implications do you think it will have for the future of jiu jitsu competitions? Share your opinions and insights in the comments below, and let’s engage in a meaningful discussion about this important development in the sport.

Today’s video is a question from a guys who is technically a “White Belt” but has around 15 years of MMA and grappling experience.
His issue is he feels a certain level of discomfort rolling with guys who are the same rank as him but he has 15x more experience then. Also, when he rolls with many of the higher belts he feels uneasy beating them even though he’s the new guy in the gym.
So, in the video I share a story of situation that happened in my gym that was very similar. It was with a guy who is now a Brown Belt but who started training with us as a White Belt after he stopped fighting professional MMA.
Thanks for watching.
