That ankle pop looks painful! So we designed a rehab program that works to fix those injuries and survive those leg lockers. Ankle sprains are a really common injury, especially when footlocks & ankle locks start getting involved. Of course there are many other ways to sprain an ankle on and off the mats. What we have for you is a way to recover from it!

People often get the darce and anaconda choke mixed up. Here is a simple way to tell the difference between the two.
Also I’ve seen three people break their wrist with the darce Choke. It’s important to shoot that hand deep!

In this video I give you guys a basic idea on how to get your question answered. I’ve looked in the Youtube comments several times and seen people ask, “How do I get my question answered by Chewy?”
And so I wanted to cover the best ways for you to get your question answered by me. Just a quick caveat, I get a lot of questions so I am not able to answer everyone of them. If I don’t I am sorry. I have a gym to run with students and a life outside of the gym. I do my best but I cannot get to all of them.
Here are the 3 best ways to get your question answered.
Social Media
Out of all the social media stuff like facebook, instagram, etc. I use instagram the most.
So you can send me a question via instagram at: http://www.instagram.com/Chewjitsu
If you do send a question. Make sure you’re following me. I give followers preferential treatment in regards to questions. I figure that’s only fair.
* I do check the Chewjitsu facebook questions once a week. Just not as often as IG.
Email
You can send me an email bit my email question form at: https://www.chewjitsu.net/contact-us/
If I choose your question I’ll reply back with a short answer and then save it for a video.
Youtube
And of course you can always leave it on youtube. Even though the got rid of the direct message function. You can still pop one right down in the comments. I typically scan through all the comments 2-3 times a week and reply to you guys as well as scope out questions.
BIG TIP ON GETTING YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED:
Please don’t send a monster wall of text with no breaks, paragraphs or a clear question at the end.
Having white space in the midst of lots of text is easy on the eyes. Big blocks of text are just hard to read.
And if I don’t have a clear question to answer I don’t feel like I can be of real help to you.
Alright, that covers the basics. 🙂
So keep on sending your questions and I’ll keep on answering them.

This video I go through how to finish an omoplata vs the most common counters. The omoplata is one of the fundamental submission in Jiu Jitsu, yet many people only use it as a sweep because they struggle to finish it. There are many different finish variations and ways an opponent can defend, learning to break down a standing opponent and finish the submission when you get the person to fall backwards are the keys.
