“Shut Up Sean” ? The choke isn’t necessarily the goal with the Rear Triangle. It’s an excellent position of control with multiple finishing options, depending on what arm he gives @brandonmc.ninja

?I use this quite often- armbar counter to defending the arm-bar. @aryabjj

http://teachmegrappling.com This video demonstrates what I call the “hand cuffs”. I learned this from BJJ Black Belt Johnny Ramirez. Great way to get a 2 against 1 advantage to finish your choke or even a 2 against 0 advantage!! Check out the details and you are sure to find something useful! Enjoy! Here are my two favorite ways to finish from the kneebar position when an opponent is much bigger! Also check out The Modern Leglock Formula https://www,.grapplearts.com/leglocks for an in depth breakdown of the leg lock game!
The ability to switch your hips mid air in Jiu-Jitsu in my opinion, is one the most important aspects of maintaining top position. Here is a great way to stay on top and immediately pass if your opponent tries to elevate you in buttetfly guard. If you do not switch hips you will either get swept or you opponent will enter legs. This takes practice, so be patient.

http://teachmegrappling.com This video has former Iowa Hawkeye, 4x All American Mike Mena demonstrating what he calls a “Twister” which is also known as a Cement Mixer. I don’t want to confuse our BJJ/grappler viewers with the wrestler’s guillotine which is what we call a twister in grappling. Check out the details and you are sure to find something useful! Enjoy!
