Here I explain a little bit of a general in-site on how to become a better fighter. Getting to know a technique, we usually start with the simple
Principle of how to apply them by yourself so
It gives you a way and goal process. I have always said “ fighting in jiu jitsu happens between 2 people. So in practice is not about what you want all the time. You need to deal
With the opponents reactions against what You want at the same time that you aim to accomplish what you want” this is in general (submission attempts ,sweeping ,taking the back , passing guard etc.. ) Remember , Fight is a conflict of interest between both parties . Like an argument. What ever you want your opponent will
Never agree. And this is the beauty of the chess game ;))))

The Von Flue is one of the simplest chokes in grappling and it is ultra deceptive. If your opponent grabs your head from side control, it’s always right around the corner. The Von Flue Choke was made famous by Jason Von Flue, but has really been pushed into the mind of MMA fans by OSP, Ovince St Preux. He has 4 finishes in the UFC with this move and he is just awesome at it.
Weight distribution is a crucial part of any technique, and the Von Flue is no exception.Check out these details from 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Black Belt Brandon Mccaghren, bmac, and see if this helps you get some extra mileage from the technique.

Burning energy and time trying to pass your opponent’s guard?⠀
⠀
You seek to engage your favorite pass, but they get a grip that makes that engagement less than perfect. ⠀
⠀
So, you do the right thing, you focus on breaking that grip, to re-establish your own, and restart that perfect engagement one more time.⠀
⠀
And then what happens?⠀
⠀
They get a different grip and the dance goes on and on. ⠀
⠀
Because each time you break one grip, you’re in the perfect range for your opponent to gain another. ⠀
⠀
So what do you do? Walk backwards? No, no one ever passed guard by doing that.⠀
⠀
What you need to do is start taking advantage of golden opportunities when they show up in front of you. ⠀
⠀
Specifically, that 1 or 2 second window of time right after you break your opponent’s grip, when they no longer have a guard in play… ⠀
⠀
This the time you just need to…⠀
⠀
… go! ⠀
⠀
