Today’s video comes from Silas who’s curious about potential benefits to training in a BJJ gym that doesn’t have air conditioning. In the video I share some ideas that might be useful to him in his Brazilian Jiu-jitsu training based on his question. I also share some potential benefits to training in a gym without AC.

That said, I personally like having a gym with air conditioning so I can control the temperature so it doesn’t get too hot and impede training.

Patrick and Deonte was an absolute war (fitting for this show) with Patrick winning with a late submission after racking up 6 points.

Juno vs Jacob was a technical battle. These guys are technicians so it’s hard to get one over on each other. We put them through best 2 out of 3 to determine the ABSOLUTE victor. Jacob came out on top in both.

Then we sprung the trap – this whole match was just a clever ploy to give Juno and Jacob – Brown Belts.

Second we gave it a second angle and started having matches on clear defined rules. This way we can give the comp guys a real feeling of competing.

The first match of the day is an ADCC Rules Nogi match between: Mike Egley (brown belt) and Mike Salazar (black belt)
