Sometimes rather than using pressure to smash your leg together, your opponent managed to hit a clean speed pass that either quickly rotated your body out of the way or allowed them to quickly maneuver themselves around your legs.
In this situation, the technique may differ, but the concepts remain the same: create a stiff arm that allows you to get up to your bottom elbow to hip escape away and create space.
Watch the video above to learn how to do exactly that. Go to jiujitsux.com for more

First impressions are everything, and to ensure your relationship with pressure passing starts off on the right foot, you’re going to need a proper introduction.
In this video, you’ll be introduced to the 4 main archetypes of the pressure passing system.
The Double Unders
The Over Unders
Smash Half, and…
Position 1 (Don’t let this arbitrary name fool you, this bad boy is truly devastating for any would-be guard player).
Ensure you watch this video and all videos within this course all the way through, from start to finish, as many of the concepts you’ll learn in certain videos will serve as the backbone to others and build as they go on.
This will guarantee you start your relationship with pressure passing the right way and with a good first impression…
… which also means you’ll soon be leaving your own impression on your opponent’s face.
