You’re not broken. You’re just training like you’re still 25…
Most BJJ injuries after 40 don’t come from one bad roll — they come from ignoring your body over and over again.
If you’re over 40 and still trying to roll like you did in your 20s, you’re not proving anything… you’re playing with fire.
In this video, we break down:
✅ Why most grapplers over 40 are one roll away from being sidelined
✅ The 3 hidden traps that lead to chronic pain and burnout
✅ What we wish we knew earlier about warm-ups, recovery, and partner selection
✅ And the exact 30-day system we built to keep you rolling smarter, longer, and pain-free
Introducing the 30-Day Pain-Free Rolling Blueprint — a digital download created by grapplers over 40, for grapplers over 40.
Inside this 40+ page blueprint, you’ll get:
– Smart warm-up and recovery protocols
– Pain + habit tracking sheets
– Training partner safety checklists
– A full 30-day smart training system designed to extend your mat-life
– And more…

Raphael Ferreira vs Nick Sahf might have been the greatest and most exciting Jiu Jitsu match of all time, right up there with Kade Ruotolo vs Andrew Tackett from the inaugural Craig Jones Invitational.
As the Color Commentator for CJI, ADCC, AIGA, UFC Fight Pass Invitational, EBI, PGF, and pretty much every major BJJ platform on earth, I feel more than qualified to say that I have never seen a match with a higher pace or with more submission attempts.
It was moving so fast I could barely call the action!
Be sure to check out the rest of PGF World Season 8, right here on YouTube, for free.
Matches happen every Wednesday night at 6pm Central time.

A clock choke is a pretty gi-dependent submission, but like many gi techniques, there are close approximations without the gi. The choke I’m showing here is about as close as it gets to a no gi version of the clock choke.
